Updates user <br />manuals to reflect current practices. <br /> <br />KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY <br /> <br />Thorough knowledge of: Principles and procedures of supervision; legal terminology and <br />principles; criminal/civil/administrative court legal procedures; statistical research techniques <br />and procedures; modern office procedures and methods; capabilities and usage of modern office <br />equipment; data collection techniques; English composition, spelling and grammar; public <br />relations techniques and concepts. <br />Substantial skill and ability to: organize and maintain contemporary administrative legal systems <br />and procedures; communicate effectively both orally and in writing; conduct independent <br />research; define administrative problems and procedures; collect, evaluate and summarize data; <br />prepare clear and concise reports; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with <br />other employees and the public; operate modern office equipment; supervise the work of <br />assigned staff. <br /> <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br /> <br /> <br />1.Graduation from high school, preferably supplemented with courses in typing and office <br />practices; AND <br /> <br />2.Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in office and clerical work, two (2) <br />years of which must have been law-related experience of a responsible nature; OR <br /> <br />3.Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience relevant <br />to the position. <br /> <br /> <br />ADOPTED 08/72 <br />REVISED 12/78; 07/93; 10/01; 01/05 (Retitled) 08/05; 05/12; 10/16 <br />MR 01/12; 08/17 <br /> <br />
