This tract of <br />land is described in Reel 4254, Page 467 of Marion County Deed Records, <br />Oregon. A lot in a subdivision is described by deed. By reference to a plat, <br />it, and the survey it represents are incorporated as if directly recited in the <br />deed. Therefore, monuments set in the original survey control the location of <br />lot corners. I found monuments from the two Illahe Hills Estates No. 2 and 3 <br />and the Panther survey of Lot 11. These found monuments do not fit <br />especially well with the original record measurements. This and widespread <br />destruction of corner monuments present challenges. I have held record <br />distances along Cherokee and Deerfield Drive for the set locations, leaving a <br />slight excess in the curve on Deerfield Drive, which is within expected <br />tolerances for the original survey and leaves all else matching record well. <br />5/8" I.R.
