NARRATIVE <br />THE PURPOSE OF THE SURVEY IS TO ESTABLISH THE PERIMETER CORNER MONUMENTS FOR THAT <br />CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT D OF PROPERTY LINE ADJUSTMENT DEED REEL 4499, <br />PAGE 400, MARION COUNTY DEED RECORDS. <br />FOUND MOUMENTS M AND 3 AS NOTED LATER IN THIS NARRATIVE WERE USED TO RE-ESTABLISH <br />THE NORTH - SOUTH CENTER LINE OF SECTION 17, T. 9 S., R. 2 E., W.M. AS NOTED AND SHOWN ON THE <br />PLAT OF 'NORTH SANTIAM PARADISE PARK RECORDED IN VOLUME 17, PAGE 42, BOOK OF TOWN PLATS <br />AND AS NOTED AND SHOWN ON MCSR 11926 USING CALCULATED POINT @ AS NOTED LATER IN THIS <br />NARRATIVE. FROM THE SAID NORTH - SOUTH CENTERLINE, I ESTABLISHED POINT @ AS NOTED LATER <br />IN THIS NARRATIVE, AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE ORIGINAL HELEN LARA TRACT AS DESCRIBED <br />IN DEED REEL 3135, PAGE 78, MARION COUNTY DEED RECORDS. SAID POINT IS ALSO AT THE <br />NORTHWEST CORNER OF PROPERTY LINE ADJUSTMENT DEED EXHIBIT D, REEL 4499, PAGE 400, MARION <br />COUNTY DEED RECORDS. SAID POINT @ IS ON THE EAST LINE OF THE KURT HUELLER TRACT <br />DESCRIBED IN DEED REEL 1998, PAGE 255, MARION COUNTY DEED RECORDS. I HELD FOUND <br />MONUMENT <5), DEPICTED AS POINT A AS NOTED LATER IN THIS NARRATIVE AND AS DESCRIBED IN <br />SAID REEL 31'2, PAGE 78 FOR THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE SCHOOL LOT FOR DISTRICT 90 AS PER <br />SUPPORTING TESTIMONY FROM HELEN LARA. THE SAID TESTIMONY FROM HELEN LARA WAS <br />DISCUSSED WITH AND NOT DISPUTED BY THE CURRENT PROPERTY OWNER OF THE SAID SCHOOL LOT, <br />KURT HUELLER. SAID HUELLER TRACT IS DESCRIBED IN REEL 1715, PAGE 194, MARION COUNTY DEED <br />RECORDS AND IS THE COMMON ADJOINING PROPERTY ON THE EAST BOUNDARY OF THE SAID ORIGINAL <br />HELEN LARA TRACT. THE FOUNDATION FOR THE SCHOOL HOUSE REMAINS AFTER THE SCHOOL HOUSE <br />BURNED IN THE SEPTEMBER, 2020 CANYON FOREST FIRE. <br />THE OLD EXISTING FENCE ALONG THE WEST AND EAST PROPERTY LINES OF SAID ORIGINAL HELEN <br />LARA TRACT ARE ACKNOWLEDGED AND ACCEPTED BY BOTH HELEN LARA AND THE AJOINING <br />PROPERTY OWNER, KURT HUELLER IN SAID PROPERTY LINE ADJUSTMENT DEED REEL 4499, PAGE 400, <br />AS THE INTENDED COMMON PROPERTY LINES FOR THE THREE ADJOINING PROPERTIES ( SAID REEL <br />3135, PAGE 78; SAID REEL 1998, PAGE 255 AND SAID REEL 1715, PAGE 194). SAID REEL 3135, PAGE 78 <br />AND SAID REEL 1998, PAGE 255 ARE EXCLUSION DEEDS FROM REEL 1715, PAGE 194. <br />THE RIGHT OF WAY ANTER LINE FOR MARKET ROAD 84 (NORTH FORK ROAD) WAS ESTABLISHED USING <br />FOUND MONUMENT 4 AS NOTED LATER IN THIS NARRATIVE AND ESTABLISHED USING RECORD <br />INFORMATION FROM MCSR 14716 AS SHOWN. MARION COUNTY SURVEYOR FIELD NOTES ( ROAD BOOK <br />3, PAGE 192, FIELD BOOK 389, PAGE 12) INDICATED SOME ROAD MONUMENTS WERE FOUND ALONG <br />MARKET ROAD 84 AS LATE AS 1963, HOWEVER, I FOUND NOTHING IN THE IMMEDIATE AREA THAT <br />PROVIDED ASSISTANCE FOR THE RE-ESTABLISHMENT OF THE RIGHT OF WAY. <br />THE PERIMETER CORNER MONUMENTS FOR SAID EXHIBIT D OF PROPERTY LINE ADJUSTMENT DEED <br />REEL 4499, PAGE 400 WERE SET USING THE SHOWN MAP INFORMATION AND THE POINT INFORMATION <br />NOTED LATER IN THIS NARRATIVE. <br />MCSR 39419 <br />NARRATIVE CONTINUED <br />THE FOUND MONUMENT INFORMATION IS PRESENTED BELOW. THE MONUMENTS WERE FOUND IN <br />GOOD CONDITION. <br />1� FOUND 11/2 " IRON PIPE AT THE SURFACE. I HELD THIS PIPE AS SHOWN ON MCSR 36145 <br />�2 FOUND 1" IRON PIPE, 0.2' BELOW THE GRAVEL ROAD SURFACE. I HELD THIS PIPE FOR A POINT <br />ON THE NORTH - SOUTH CENTER LINE OF SECTION 17, T. 9 S., R. 2 E., W.M. AND FOR THE ROAD <br />RIGHT OF WAY POINT ON THE EAST SIDE OF SANTIAM WAY S.E. AS SHOWN ON THE SUBDIVISION <br />PLAT OF 'NORTH SANTIAM PARADISE PARK' (VOL 17, PAGE 42, BOOK OF TOWN PLATS). <br />03 FOUND 1" IRON PIPE, 0.2' ABOVE THE GROUND. I HELD THIS PIPE FOR THE NORTH 1 / 4 CORNER <br />FOR SECTION 17, T. 9 S., R. 2 E., W.M. AS SHOWN ON MCSR 11926. <br />® 1" IRON PIPE, LEANING WESTERLY, 0.5' ABOVE THE GROUND. I HELD THIS PIPE AS SHOWN ON <br />MCSR 14716. <br />�5 112" IRON PIPE, BENT AND EMBEDDED IN A ROOT OF A 30" DIAMETER OAK TREE AT THE NORTH <br />END OF AN OLD, EXISTING FENCE RUNNING SOUTHERLY FROM THE SAID TREE. I HELD THIS <br />IRON PIPE FOR THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE SCHOOL LOT FOR DISTRICT 90 IN MARION <br />COUNTY. NOT OF SURVEY RECORD. <br />THE NOTED POINT INFORMATION IS PRESENTED BELOW: <br />A� FOUND MONUMENT 5 AS DESCRIBED ABOVE. I CONSIDERED THE TESTIMONY OF THE <br />SCHOOL SITE HISTO AS PRESENTED BY CURRENT PROPERTY OWNER, HELEN LARA. I HELD <br />THIS OLD PIPE FOR THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE SAID SCHOOL SITE. IN MY INITIAL <br />DISCUSSIONS, HELEN DESCRIBED AN OLD T BAR THAT MARKED THE PHYSICAL AND <br />RECOGNIZED NORTHWEST CORNER. I FOUND THE EMBEDDED IRON PIPE AT THE BASE OF THE <br />OLD T BAR. <br />B� SET 5/8" IRON ROD, S. 5° 24' 02" W., 1.10' FROM THE TRUE RIGHT OF WAY POINT DUE TO A LARGE <br />ROCK 3" UNDER THE SURFACE. <br />CG SET 5/8" IRON ROD, S. 030 43'420 W., 0.49' FROM THE TRUE RIGHT OF WAY POINT DUE TO A <br />LARGE ROCK 6" UNDER THE SURFACE. <br />D� SET 5/8" IRON ROD AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE ORIGINAL HELEN LARA TRACT AT A <br />POINT ON THE EAST LINE OF THE SAID HUELLER TRACT ( SAID REEL 1998, PAGE 255). SAID <br />POINT IS LOCATED S. 88° 17'46- E., 3.3' FROM THE CENTER OF A BURNT 18" DIAMETER STUMP <br />WITH BURIED OLD FENCE WIRE RUNNING SOUTH AND EAST. <br />E� THIS POINT REPRESENTS THE CALCULATED POSITION FOR THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SAID <br />'NORTH SANTIAM PARADISE PARK.
