•
Activity Number: 555-19-006781-Eval Date: October 16,2019
Project Address: 7636 Battle Creek Rd.SE
083W25D-00500lot 2
Completed By: Kimberlee Aldrich WWS
Specific Requirements
For a 6 bedroom home this site will require 500 linear ft of drainline installed at a
depth of 24-36 inches, with a minimum of a 1500 gallon tank if gravity flow can be
achieved and a 1500 primary septic tank with a 1000 gallon dosing tank if a pump is
needed to reach the approved area. This approval is dependent upon the ability to
meet setbacks to proposed property lines, wells, surface water and driveways as well
as landuse approval
DRY SOIL CONDITIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION (March 1 —
October 31). The geographical area in which the property lies is considered a risk
to installation during winter months. Soil moisture conditions generally preclude
construction of the drainfield in the winter months.
A DETAILED SEPTIC SYSTEM STAKEOUT IS REQUIRED prior to the issuance of a
septic system installation permit. A scale drawn, detailed site plan must be
submitted with the application for the installation permit. The stakeout must be
inspected on the property and approved before the permit can be issued.
Instructions for the stakeout are attached and are available in our office.
Additional Conditions of Site Approval
1. This site is approved for the type of disposal system described above. Peak
sewage flow into the system is limited to a maximum of 450 gallons per day,
with an average sewage flow of not more than 225 gallons per day. This is
normally sufficient to serve a residence with 4 (four) bedrooms. Premature
failure of the treatment system may occur if either of these flow quantities is
exceeded. If, for some reason, you expect your water use may exceed these
flows, it may be advisable to increase the size of the treatment system.
2. Any alteration of natural soil conditions (i.e. cutting, logging, or filling) in the
acceptable area may void this approval. Continued disturbance in the area of
the approved test pits is highly discouraged.
3. Both the initial and replacement disposal areas are to be protected from traffic,
livestock and farming activities, development or other potential disturbance of
natural soil conditions.
4. The area must not be subjected to excessive saturation due to, but not limited
to, artificial drainage of ground surfaces, roads, driveways and building down
spouts.
5. This approval is given on the basis that the parcel described above will not be
further partitioned or subdivided.
6. Placement of a well within 100 feet of the approved areas may invalidate this
approval.
