ALSO TO LOCATE <br />AND VERIFY ITS ACCESSORIES ESTABLISHED IN 1976 AS PER BUREAU OF LAND <br />MANGEMENT (BLM) FIELD NOTES, VOL OR R0618, PG 177. FOUND AGAIN IN 1993 <br />BY BLM AS PER BLM FIELD NOTES, VOL OR R0666, PG 48-49. BLM NOTED IN <br />1993 THAT ACCESSORIES 19764] AND 1976[5] BEARINGS HAVE A CHANGE. WHICH <br />MATCHED OUR FINDINGS. ACCESSORY 1976[4], NOW A BURNT FIR 37" DIA BEARS <br />S60'W, AND ACCESSORY 1976[5], NOW A BURNT AND ROTTED FIR STUMP 26" DIA <br />BEARS N41 'W AS SHOWN. THE CORNER WAS MONUMENTED IN 1976, AS PER THE <br />BLM FIELD NOTES ABOVE. <br />RECORDS RESEARCH WAS PERFORMED IN THE MARION COUNTY SURVEYOR'S OFFICE <br />TO OBTAIN ALL FILED SURVEYS AND FIELD NOTES CONTAINING INFORMATION ABOUT <br />THIS CORNER. A FIELD SEARCH WAS MADE TO LOCATE ALL PHYSICAL EVIDENCE OF <br />THIS CORNER AND ITS ACCESSORIES. THE MONUMENT SET IN THE 1976 BLM FIELD <br />NOTES WAS FOUND IN GOOD CONDITION. TWO NEW ACCESSORIES WERE SET AT THIS <br />TIME. <br />THE BASIS OF BEARINGS IS BETWEEN THE 3-1/4" DIA BLM BRASS CAP, MARKING <br />THE SOUTH 1/4 CORNER OF SECTION 10 AND THE NORTH 114 OF SECTION 15, TO <br />THE ACCESSORY 1993[6], WHICH IS A BURNT ALDER 19" DIA SCRIBED "1 /4 SIO <br />BT." BEARING WAS DETERMINED BY USING A HAND COMPASS WITH DECLINATION SET <br />TO 15' EAST. <br />EQUIPMENT. <br />A LEICA NOVA MS50 MULTISTATION WITH AN ANGULAR RESOLUTION OF ONE SECOND, <br />HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL, DISTANCE TO 2 MILLIMETERS +/- 2 PARTS PER MILLION <br />WAS USED FOR SETTING NEW ACCESSORY MONUMENTS.
