* THERE IS NO RECORD OF MONUMENT NUMBER 81 CHANGING CHARACTER FROM A YELLOW PLASTIC CAP
MARKED "MARION COUNTY SURVEYOR" TO AN ALUMINUM CAP MARKED "BARKER PLS G30". I HAD A
DISCUSSION WITH GREGORY L. WILSON, PLS 2G87, OF BARKER SURVEYING THAT YIELDED NO INFORMATION
RELATED TO THIS. IT HAS GOOD RECOGNITION WITH OTHER MONUMENTS AND WILL BE HELD.
THE PURPOSE OF THIS SURVEY IS TO ESTABLISH THE BOUNDARIES OF PARCEL 2, PARTITION PLAT 2001-097 AND PARCEL 2, PARTITION PLAT 201 0-09, HEREON
REFERRED TO AS SUBJECT PROPERTY, EXCLUDING THE COMMON LINES OF SAID PARTITIONS.
TO ESTABLISH THE SOUTHERLY PORTION OF THE LINE COMMON TO IKE MOONEY ROAD NORTHEAST, COUNTY ROAD 7GO, I HELD MONUMENT NUMBERS 51 AND 8 1 FOR
THE EAST -WEST PORTION OF SAID IKE MOONEY ROAD. I THEN OFFSET THIS LINE NORTHERLY 20.00-FEET. I HELD THE RECORD ANGLE CALCULATED FROM MCSR 33983
FROM MONUMENT NUMBER 51 AND DREW A LINE SOUTHWESTERLY I ,055.G8-FEET TO A CALCULATED POINT. I THEN OFFSET THIS LINE WESTERLY AND EASTERLY
20.00-FEET. AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF THE AFOREMENTIONED OFFSETS WITH SAID NORTHERLY OFFSET I SET A MONUMENT AT EACH LOCATION MARKING ANGLE
POINTS IN SAID IKE MOONEY ROAD.
TO ESTABLISH THE SOUTHERLY PORTION OF THE LINE WESTERLY OF SAID IKE MOONEY I HELD MONUMENT NUMBERS 59 AND 54. 1 THEN HELD MONUMENT NUMBER 54
AND MONUMENT NUMBER 53 FOR ALIGNMENT AND TRIMMED THIS LINE AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE EXTENSION OF THE SAID WESTERLY 20.00-FOOT OFFSET OF SAID
IKE MOONEY ROAD AND SET A MONUMENT.
TO ESTABLISH THE EASTERLY LINE I HELD MONUMENT NUMBERS 58 AND 52 AND EXTENDED THIS LINE SOUTHERLY TO THE SAID NORTHERLY OFFSET OF SAID IKE
MOONEY ROAD AND SET A MONUMENT. THIS LINE HAS THE SAME BEARING AS THE SAID EASTERLY 20.00-FOOT OFFSET OF SAID IKE MOONEY ROAD. TO CONTINUE
NORTHERLY ALONG THE EASTERLY LINE I HELD MONUMENT NUMBERS 58, 57 AND 75. MONUMENT NUMBER 75 MARKING THE NORTHEASTERLY CORNER OF THE
SUBJECT BOUNDARY. I THEN EXTENDED THE LINE BETWEEN MONUMENT NUMBERS 57 AND 75 NORTHERLY TO THE INTERSECTION OF THE NORTHERLY LINE OF THE
SUBJECT PROPERTY, TO BE ESTABLISHED BELOW, AND SET A MONUMENT.
TO ESTABLISH THE NORTHERLY LINE I HELD MONUMENT NUMBERS 92 AND 72 AND EXTENDED THIS LINE EASTERLY TO THE INTERSECTION OF THE EASTERLY LINE AND SET
A MONUMENT. IT 15 MY OPINION THAT THIS MONUMENT WOULD BE NECESSARY TO PROPERLY ESTABLISH THE NORTHERLY LINE OF THE SUBJECT PROPERTY IF
MONUMENT NUMBERS 92 OR 72 WERE LOST.
TO ESTABLISH THE WESTERLY LINE I HELD MONUMENT NUMBERS 54 AND 78. 1 THEN OFFSET THIS LINE 39G.00-FEET (G.00-CHAINS) WESTERLY AND TRIMMED IT AT
MONUMENT NUMBER 92 AND AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE SOUTHERLY LINE BETWEEN MONUMENT 54 AND 59, AND SET A MONUMENT. MONUMENT NUMBER 92
MARKS THE NORTHWESTERLY CORNER OF THE SUBJECT BOUNDARY. I EXAMINED THE SUBJECT PROPERTY DEEDS, THE ADJOINING DEEDS AND THE DEEDS FOR ADJACENT
PROPERTIES ALONG THE SAID WESTERLY LINE FROM MONUMENT NUMBER 93 TO THE MONUMENT I SET ON THE SOUTHERLY LINE. THE FOLLOWING DEEDS CALL FOR THIS
LINE TO BE PARALLEL WITH THE SECTION LINE BETWEEN SECTIONS I AND 2 AND WESTERLY OF SAID SECTION LINE G.00-CHAIN5: REEL 32 15, PAGE 495, REEL 4155,
PAGE G7, REEL 4038, PAGE 185, REEL 389 1, PAGE 3G9, REEL 983, PAGE 73, REEL 909, PAGE 17 1, AND REEL 9G8, PAGE 332, ALL RECORDED IN THE MARION
COUNTY DEED RECORDS. AT THE TIME THESE DEEDS WERE RECORDED THE COMMONLY USED SECTION LINE BETWEEN SECTIONS I AND 2 WAS MONUMENT NUMBERS
54 TO 78, MONUMENT NUMBER 78 BEING THE ACCEPTED NORTHEAST SECTION CORNER OF SECTION 2. MARION COUNTY RE-ESTABLISHED THE NORTHEAST CORNER
OF SECTION 2 AND DOCUMENTED THIS IN MCSR 3G952. IT IS MY OPINION THAT THE INTENT OF THE LINE FROM MONUMENT NUMBER 93 TO THE MONUMENT I SET ON
THE SOUTHERLY LINE IS TO BE THE LINE BETWEEN MONUMENT NUMBERS 54 AND 78 OFFSET WESTERLY G.00 CHAINS, NOT TO USE THE SECTION LINE AS IT IS
CURRENTLY MONUMENTED FROM MONUMENT NUMBERS 54 TO 80.
