The original tract was bracketed by Blocks 4 and <br />5, Riverview Park (volume 23, Page 31, book of Town Plats). Within the <br />subdivision, missing original monuments, monuments of unknown <br />origin, and discrepancies in the subsequent surveys confound identifying the <br />location of the lots. Those original monuments that were found within <br />expected tolerances for Barnes and Bascue were accepted, along with <br />monuments from my prior survey, filed as MCSR 39508. The monuments <br />that are noted as out of position were rejected due to appearance and position <br />indicating that they were not original monuments or had been moved.
