 ,,,, Building Inspection Division
.0 .. Marion County
Onsite Wastewater Review
--_ N, OR E Go:N
PUBLIC.WORKS'
Activity Number: 555-23-002166-INQY Date: March 14,2023
Project Address: 18906 Butteville Rd NE Aurora
11.36 acres of Tax Lot 04S 1 W30 00700; Partition 22-035
Completed By: Robert Goodwin, REHS
SEPTIC SYSTEM RECORD REVIEW
This record review was conducted in preparation for partition 22-035. Currently; this is a 31.76 acre
parcel; a 20.4 acre and a 11.36 acre parcel will be created. This record review is for the proposed 11.36
acre parcel. This property has a home and a septic system on it.
Marion County has no records of the installation of the septic system. An existing system evaluation
report performed by American Onsite shows the system consists of a 1000 gallon septic tank, and 93 feet
of rock and pipe drainfield. The evaluation found the system to be in working order, the tank was
reportedly pumped by Carl's septic on June 8, 2020.
Based on the site plan and acreage of the site, area for a replacement system exists when one is needed.
Please refer to the signed, site plan dated March 14, 2023.
THIS RECORD REVIEW IS BASED ON THE INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY THE APPLICANT.
THE SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic, livestock and
fanning activities. Other activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway placement or any
similar activities may also damage the soil in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval.
The areas of the initial septic system and the future repair area must both be protected.
THE SEPTIC TANK SHOULD BE PUMPED AND INSPECTED by a licensed septic tank pumping
service approximately EVERY FIVE (5) YEARS. The septic tank is a reservoir for the solid materials in
the sewage waste stream. Excessive accumulation of these solid materials in the septic tank will cause
the solids to wash out of the tank and into the drainfield. This will cause irreversible damage to the
drainfield and will eventually lead to a system failure.
5155 Silverton Rd NE—Salem,Oregon 97305-3802—Phone(503)588-5147—Fax(503)588-7948
