Conditions observed during this site evaluation indicate that <br /> EMERGENCY the area around the evaluated test holes is not capable of supporting a <br /> MANAGEMENT Standard septic system due to the following limitations: <br /> ENGINEERING Depth to Soil with Rapid or Very Rapid Permeability <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL DEQ Rule requirement: Soil with rapid or very rapid permeability <br /> SERVICES must be 36" below the ground surface. "Soil with rapid or very rapid <br /> permeability" refers to sandy loam or coarser soil with 35% or more <br /> OPERATIONS coarse fragments over 2mm; loamy sand or sand; or stones, cobbles, <br /> PARKS gravel and rock fragments with too little soil material to fill the void <br /> spaces. OAR 340-071-0220(1)(c) <br /> PLANNING Description: Treatment of sewage occurs in the soil around the <br /> drainfield area. If the sewage enters the groundwater before it has <br /> SURVEY been adequately treated in the soil, it poses a potential public health <br /> hazard. Soil with rapid permeability was observed as shallow as 0 <br /> inches below ground surface at this site. <br /> Under the conditions observed at the above address, a PRESSURIZED <br /> DISTRIBUTION system is required by DEQ rules for the repair system. <br /> Specific Requirements <br /> Specific sizing and site placement details can be found on the attached <br /> Soil Notes/Field Worksheet. <br /> EASEMENT: For lots or parcels under different ownership, an easement <br /> and a covenant must be executed and recorded in the county land title <br /> records, on a form approved by DEQ.
