„ '"~ N. , ': artQrt ou Building Inspection Division
 Mrt
Onsite Wastewater Review
ams-
PUBLfC.WORKS
Activity Number:555-23-004129-INQY Date: September 12,2023
Project Address: 5226 Josephine Ln SE Turner
2.92 acres of 4.92 acres of 091W05 00400
Completed By: Kimberlee Aldrich
SEPTIC SYSTEM RECORD REVIEW
This record review was conducted as the property is getting smaller and to determine that there is enough
room for a repair system, when needed.
The existing septic system consists of 450 linear ft of serpentine drainline with a 1000 gallon concrete
scharff tank A site plan was submitted showing the system is located entirely within the proposed parcel
meeting setbacks to the property lines. There appears to be room for a repair area when needed.
THIS RECORD REVIEW IS BASED ON THE INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY THE APPLICANT.
THE SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic, livestock and farming
activities. Other activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway placement or any similar
activities may also damage the soil in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval. The areas
of the initial septic system and the future repair area must both be protected.
THE SEPTIC TANK SHOULD BE PUMPED AND INSPECTED by a licensed septic tank pumping
service approximately EVERY FIVE (5) YEARS. The septic tank is a reservoir for the solid materials in
the sewage waste stream. Excessive accumulation of these solid materials in the septic tank can cause the
solids to wash out of the tank and into the drainfield. This can cause irreversible damage to the drainfield
and can eventually lead to a system failure.
5155 Silverton Rd NE—Salem,Oregon 97305-3802—Phone(503)588-5147—Fax(503)588-7948
