`
1artor Go Building Inspection Division
-._. ,--•_ Onsite Wastewater Review
P,UBL'IC WORKS
Activity Number:555-24-006448-INQY Date: September 5th,2024
Project Address: 10443 West Stayton Rd SE,Aumsville
4.3-Acres of 092W120001200 from PLA 22-029
Completed By: Danielle Brown
SEPTIC SYSTEM RECORD REVIEW
This record review was conducted as the property is getting smaller and to determine that there is enough
room for a repair system, when needed.
The Existing System Evaluation Report document created by Oregon Sewer and Drain shows that the
system consists of an 800-gallon tank and 180 linear ft of tile drainline. It was noted that the drainline
terminated near the drainage ditch. Therefore, on 09/03/2024 the_system was dyed to verify no sewage was
reaching the drainage ditch. At that time, no septic discharge to the ditch was observed. A site plan and
existing system evaluation report was submitted on 08/15/2024 showing the system is located entirely.
within the proposed parcel meeting setbacks to the property lines. There appears to be room for a repair
area when needed.
THIS RECORD REVIEW IS BASED ON THE INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY THE APPLICANT.
THE SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic, livestock and fanning
activities. Other activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway placement or any similar
activities may also damage the soil in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval. The areas
of the initial septic system and the future repair area must both be protected.
THE SEPTIC TANK SHOULD BE PUMPED AND INSPECTED by a licensed septic tank pumping
service approximately EVERY FIVE (5) YEARS. The septic tank is a reservoir for the solid materials in
the sewage waste stream. Excessive accumulation of these solid materials in the septic tank can cause the
solids to wash out of the tank and into the drainfield. This can cause irreversible damage to the drainfield
and can eventually lead to a system failure.
5155 Silverton Rd NE-Salem,Oregon 97305-3802—Phone(503)588-5147—Fax(503)588-7948
