Lyons, OR <br /> DIRECTOR Dear Neonta <br /> Brian Nicholas, P.E. <br /> ADMINISTRATION Test pits have been evaluated at the property above; please see <br /> minimum requirements below. <br /> BUILDING <br /> • INSPECTION Approved Area & System Type . <br /> Soil test pits and other site features were evaluated during the site <br /> EMERGENCY visit on 1/25/22, Conditions observed during this site evaluation <br /> MANAGEMENT indicate that the area around the evaluated test holes is not capable <br /> ENGINEERING of supporting a Standard septic system due to the following <br /> limitations: <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> SERVICES Rapidly Draining Soils; <br /> Per OAR 340-071-0215(4), if the site characteristics and <br /> OPERATIONS standards in OAR 340-071-0220 can be met the repair installation <br /> PARKS must conform to the requirements. The standards can be met on <br /> this site and with rapidly draining soils as defined in 340-071- <br /> PLANNING 0100(148) a pressurized drainfield is required. In the area <br /> surrounding pit 1, a 400 ft"2 (20 x 20 ft) pressurized seepage bed <br /> SURVEY is required due to a burn pile and compaction over this area as <br /> well a 25 ft setback from the neighbor's rock wall to where the <br /> seepage bed will be allowed to start. The damaged top 6 inches <br /> of the soil must be removed along with all the organic burned <br /> matter and debris from this area. This system in to be installed a <br /> level, b.ut with a minimum depth of 18 inches and a maximum <br /> depth of.36 to help with the fluctuation of the landscape. See <br /> packet for full details. <br /> The area surrounding pit 2 is approved for either for 100 ft of <br /> pressurized drainline or a 400 ft"2 seepage bed.
