State of Oregon
DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY

INTEROFFICE MEMO

To: Dept. of Commerce
Real Estate Division Date~anuary 11,
From: Gary Messer, R.S., Salem-North Coast Region

1977

Subiect::SS-Camelia Heights Subdivision No,
Section 29; T8S; RIW, WWM
Marion County
Salem-North Coast Region

3; Lots 1 ~ 13 (13 total)

Camelia Heights Subdivision No. 3, Lots 1 13 is approved for sub-
surface sewage disposal subject to the following general and specific
conditions:

General Conditions:

Prior to any construction, grading, road construction, drive-
way construction, or placement of any well or water lines,
the owner shall first contact the Marion County Health De-
partment to insure there will be no encroachment on the
approved drainfield area.

The land surface in the vicinity of the approved disposal
areas shall not be altered.

Subsurface sewage disposal permits must be obtained from
the Marion County Health Department before any construction.

~pecific Conditions:

Lot No. 1 must be extended an additional thirty (30) feet
to the south. That is, take 30 feet off the north boundary
line of Lot 2 and add it to Lot 1.

The subsurface sewage disposal system for Lot No. 1 must be
located in the southern (higher ground) 1/3 of the lot. This
may require the use of a pumping system, depending on where
the building foundation is located.

NOTE:

To allow for maximum separation between wells and septic tank
systems on Lots 1 and 2~ it is suggested that the wells be located
in the upper southeast corners of the lots and the septic tank
systems be confined to the upper western portions of the lots.

wr/642

DEQ 4
