State of Oregon <br />DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY <br /> <br />INTEROFFICE MEMO <br /> <br />To: Dept. of Commerce <br /> Real Estate Division Date~anuary 11, <br />From: Gary Messer, R.S., Salem-North Coast Region <br /> <br />1977 <br /> <br />Subiect::SS-Camelia Heights Subdivision No, <br /> Section 29; T8S; RIW, WWM <br /> Marion County <br /> Salem-North Coast Region <br /> <br />3; Lots 1 ~ 13 (13 total) <br /> <br />Camelia Heights Subdivision No. 3, Lots 1 13 is approved for sub- <br />surface sewage disposal subject to the following general and specific <br />conditions: <br /> <br />General Conditions: <br /> <br />Prior to any construction, grading, road construction, drive- <br />way construction, or placement of any well or water lines, <br />the owner shall first contact the Marion County Health De- <br />partment to insure there will be no encroachment on the <br />approved drainfield area. <br /> <br />The land surface in the vicinity of the approved disposal <br />areas shall not be altered. <br /> <br />Subsurface sewage disposal permits must be obtained from <br />the Marion County Health Department before any construction. <br /> <br />~pecific Conditions: <br /> <br />Lot No. 1 must be extended an additional thirty (30) feet <br />to the south. That is, take 30 feet off the north boundary <br />line of Lot 2 and add it to Lot 1. <br /> <br />The subsurface sewage disposal system for Lot No. 1 must be <br />located in the southern (higher ground) 1/3 of the lot. This <br />may require the use of a pumping system, depending on where <br />the building foundation is located. <br /> <br />NOTE: <br /> <br /> To allow for maximum separation between wells and septic tank <br />systems on Lots 1 and 2~ it is suggested that the wells be located <br />in the upper southeast corners of the lots and the septic tank <br />systems be confined to the upper western portions of the lots. <br /> <br />wr/642 <br /> <br />DEQ 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
