Sheet 1 of 2 <br /> <br />DIVISION <br /> <br />SECTION 1 <br /> <br />1.O1 <br /> <br />1.02 <br /> <br />DETROIT BARRACKS <br />EMPLOYEE HOUSING <br /> <br />1: DESIGN PROSPECTUS REVISION DATED 04-16-86 <br /> <br />: GENERAL <br /> <br />Project Location: Detroit Ranger District Work Center, Detroit, OR. <br /> <br />This project is for the design and preparation of drawings and written <br />specifications for the construction of: heated housing for 40 seasonal <br />employees (with a parking lot); a heated cooking facility for 20 <br />additional people with a laundry room and recreation room; waste water <br />disposal system(s) as necessary; and fire suppression stand pipe <br />apparatus. <br /> <br />SECTION <br />g.01 <br /> <br />2.02 <br /> <br />HOUSING <br /> <br />This portion of the project is to house 40 employees in an apartment <br />type house or houses. Living units shall be two bedroom with two <br />persons per bedroom totaling ten living units. <br /> <br />Living units shall have two bedrooms with two closets each, a living <br />room, full kitchen and a bathroom. The bathroom shall have two shower <br />stalls, two sinks, and two water closets with privacy provided by <br />ceiling high walls. Bedroom closets shall be equipped with unkeyed <br />lockable doors. <br /> <br />SECTION 3: COOKING FACILITY <br /> <br />3.01 <br /> <br />This building may be attached to the existing bunk houses, attached to <br />the new housing, or built as a separate building. If attached to the <br />new housing, noise and traffic may be a problem, thus the design shall <br />provide for this. <br /> <br />3.02 <br /> <br />Provide a minimum of four individual residential type kitchens (eating <br />area included). Each kitchen is to be used by five persons, shall be <br />completely enclosed by walls, and each shall have a locking entrance <br />door. <br /> <br />3.03 <br /> <br />Attached to the kitchens will be a recreation rOom sized for a ping <br />pong table~ a pool table, seating for 20 persons~ contain a TV shelf, <br />base cabinet with a single compartment sink, and a wall cabinet for <br />games. <br /> <br />3.04 <br /> <br />Attached to the recreation room will be two restrooms each containing <br />two water closets and two sinks. <br /> <br />3 .O5 <br /> <br />Attached to the recreation room will be a mud room located near the <br />main entrance. <br /> <br />3.06 <br /> <br />Attached to the recreation room will be a laundry room containing thFee <br />washers and three dryers, a folding table and a free standing sink. <br />There shall be storage space (room, closet) included for cleaning <br />equipment and supplies. <br /> <br />3.07 Provide handicapped access to all rooms. <br /> <br /> <br />
