7878 Barbara Lane SE, Aumsville <br />August 20, 1991 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />/~1 O~EGON <br />i~iil=lll COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />B~ilding Znspeotlon - Dwelling Plan Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the State of Oregon <br />1990 Edition One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br /> <br />Foundation plates shall be bolted to the foundation with minimum <br />1/2 inch diameter by 10 inch anchor bolts embedded at least 7 inches <br />into concrete or reinforced masonry and spaced not more than 6 feet <br />apart with a minimum of 2 bolts per piece with one bolt within 12 inches <br />of the end of each piece. Figure (R-303) <br /> <br />4x12 beams over garage doors are not adequate to carry the loads imposed <br />on them. 4x14 beams or equivalent would be the minimum size necessary. <br /> <br />Roof trusses are required to be designed by an Oregon registered <br />Bngineer or Architect. For trusses manufactured by an approved <br />fabrication plant, have the design and layout drawings available at the <br />construction site for the framing inspection. All job site cutting or <br />modification of the roof trusses shall be clearly shown in the <br />engineer's design calculations and drawings. If trusses are to be built <br />at the job site, submit the engineer's design and construction plans to <br />the Marion County Building Department prior to start of construction and <br />have the approved drawings available at the site for the framing <br />inspection. <br /> <br />Ail plywood, when designed to be exposed in outdoor applications shall <br />be of an exterior type, except that plywood roof sheathing exposed to <br />the underside may be of interior type with exterior glue. (R-703.1) <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of the provisions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction. Reviews or inspections <br />presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the <br />dwelling code Or of other ordinances ef the jurisdiction shall not be valid. <br /> <br />"APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
