Marion County <br /> <br /> OREGON <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br /> DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />BUILDING INSPECTION DATE; <br /> <br />PLANNING & SUBJECT <br />ENFOBCEMENT <br /> <br />STRUCTURAL PLANS REVIEW <br /> <br /> June 25, 1991 <br /> <br /> 8724 Golf Club Rd, Aumsville <br /> <br /> Sanitiam Golf Club <br /> <br />BOARD OF <br />COMMISSIONI:RS <br />Randall franke <br />G,~r¥ Heer <br /> <br />SITE NUMBER: 10172 <br />TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: V-N <br />BUILDING CLASS: <br /> <br />OFFICER The plans for the above indicated project are acceptable as submitted <br />K~nRoud~bu~h subject tO the following items noted below: <br /> <br /> This is a plan review covering the alterations to the above existing building. <br /> This review is based on the regulations of the Oregon State Structural <br /> Specialty Code (UBC) 1990 ~dition. <br /> <br /> This review is not intended to prohibit the building inspector from requesting <br /> an evaluation of th~ acceptability of existing structural membsrs that may <br /> appear to be unsafe. ~xisting construction not specifically detailed in the <br /> plans and structural calculations is beyond the scope of this review. <br /> <br />In Group A~ Division 3 Occupancies having an occupant load of 50 or <br />more, exit doors shall not be provided with a latch or lock unless it is <br />panic hardware. <br /> <br />Portable fire extinguisher shall be provided and installed as required <br />by applicable standards and as directed by the authority having <br />jurisdiction. <br /> <br />Enclosed attics and rafter spaces shall have cross ventilation for each <br />separate space. The net free ventilating area shall be not less than <br />1/150 of the area of the space ventilated. (3205(c)) <br /> <br />Safety glazing material shall be installed in doors and in locations <br />within ~2 inches of the door. (5406(d)6) <br /> <br />Suspended ceiling systems shall be braced for lateral loads. Where <br />substantiating design calculations are not provided, horizontal <br />restraints shall be effected by four No. 12 gage wires secured to the <br />main runner within 2 inches of the cross runner intersection and splayed <br />90 degrees from each other at an angle not exceeding 45 degrees from the <br />plane of the ceiling. A strut fastened to the main runner shall be <br />extended to and fastened to the structural members supporting the roof <br />or floor above. The strut shall be adequate to resist the vertical <br />component induced by the bracing wires.
