'Thanks. : "'"' ' <br /> <br />I discussed with Mr. Owings, chief Electrical Inspector for the <br />State of Oregon, the implementation of your inspection program. <br />The followin~ conclusion was reached; out~!de contractors are <br />9ermitted to make alterations on your program however, they are <br />required to notify this office prior to the commencement of any <br />work. The other option available to an outside contracting agent <br />would be to obtain an electrical permit and inspection through <br />normal processes. Failure to comply with permit requirements or <br />proper notification of an in-p/ant inspection would sub3ect both <br />the district and the contractor to civil penalties under Oregon <br />Revised Statute 479.§i0 to 479.860, <br /> <br /> <br />
