This review is not intended to prohibit the <br />building inspector from requesting an evaluation of the acceptability of <br />existing structural members that may appear to be unsafe. Existing <br />construction not specifically detailed in the submitted plans and structural <br />calculations is beyond the scope of this review. <br /> <br />Roof trusses shall be designed for a 70 PSF roof live load. Roo~ <br />trusses are required to be designed by an Oregon registered Engineer or <br />Architect. For trusses manufactured by an approved fabrication plant, <br />have the design and layout drawings available at the construction site <br />for the framing inspection. All job site cutting or modification of the <br />roof trusses shall be clearly shown in the engineer's design <br />calculations and drawings. If trusses are to be built at the job site, <br />submit the engineer's design and construction plans to the Marion County <br />Building Department prior to start of construction and have the approved <br />drawings available at the site for the framing inspection. <br /> <br />All plywood, when designed to be exposed in outdoor applications shall <br />be of an exterior type, except that plywood roof sheathing exposed to <br />the underside may be of interior type with exterior glue. (R-703.1 <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of the provisions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction. Reviews or inspections <br />presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the <br />dwelling code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction shall not be valid. <br /> <br />"APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
