September 11, 1991
Page 2

A request may be submitted to the D.E.Q. for a denial review and
they will visit the site and make a determination on the suit-
ability of the site for sewage disposal. The denial review fee is
one hundred dollars ($100) and the application must be submitted
to the willamette Valley Region office of D.E.Q. within thirty
(30) days of denial notification.

It may be possible to reconsider this property for an alternative
sand filter system, or a seepage trench system or a redundant
system if the property was created with its current boundaries
prior to January 1, 1974. A detailed field stake out of any of
these systems will be necessary for reconsideration. Refer to the
stakeout procedure for details of the stakeout requirements.
Contact our office for information pertaining to the individual
systems.

If the site is not approved under any of the above options, it
may be possible to obtain a variance from the D.E.Q. rules by
submitting a variance application directly to D.E.Q. along with
the appropriate fee.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 4:30. Please
contact our office if you have any questions concerning this
report.

Sincerely,

LEE A. GRIMES
SOIL SCIENTIST

DONALD E.
