SS., R.2W., SECTION 13

97325

I stopped by this property 12/4/91 to check the suitabil-
ity of the proposed septic system drainfield sites.
Unfortunately, the sites you chose are too far down slope
within a concave landform that cannot be considered. The
drainfields must be relocated farther up slope onto the
straight slope of the hillside,

It appears that the mobil home will need to be rotated
about 90 degrees to the position as currently flagged. If
so, that will allow the septic tank and drainfields to be
sited farther up slope within the appropriate area. I
suggest that you meet with your septic system installer
and field-stake the individual drainfield lines of both
the original and the replacement fields before you site
the well to ensure that the required 100 minimum feet
separation between the well and drainfields is main-
tained.

The system for a one through four bedroom residence will
include a 1000 gallon septic tank and 450 lineal feet of
drainfield. Serial distribution must be used with the
drainfield line trenches limited to 24 inches deep mini-
mum/maximum. Avoid the area of old fill material from the
cul-de-sac excavation.

I hope this report will help you develop a plot
submit with your septic permit application.
have any questions. I am usually in the
and 10 AM.

SOIL SCIENTIST

plan to
Call, if you
office between 8

Senator Building 220 High Street NE Salem, Oregon 97301-3670
