Box 227 <br />Aumsville, Oregon 97325 <br /> <br />Phone 74%2030 <br /> <br />June 19, 1992 <br /> <br /> JUN 2 3 iW21 <br />MARION COUNTY <br />BUILDIN6 INSPEGTION <br /> <br />Carport and setback requirements per state codes~ <br /> <br />Enclosed is the building permit application that shows a request to construct <br />a carport 3'feet from another carport or structure on another space in the mobile <br />home park. <br /> <br />The City would like to know who's responsibility it is to permit such building <br />as to setbacks due to the fact that the state code regulates setback requirements. <br /> <br />Could the City allow such setbacks with firewall through the variance procedure <br />of the City? <br /> <br />Or does the State supercede the City in regard to this procedure and regulations? <br />The City is also concerned about possible violation of state code that states: <br /> <br />The area occupied by the mobile home, accessory buildings, and structures on <br />a mobile home lot shall not exceed 75% of the lot area. <br /> <br />As soon as a decision is made on this permit, would you please notify the city <br />by letter as to how the City should process such requests in the future. <br /> <br />If there ar'e any further questions, please feel free to contact tbs City <br />Hall. <br /> <br />Respectfully, <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
