accordance with the provision of the NFPA Standard <br /> <br /> for Portable Fire Extinguishers. <br /> <br /> -2- Parallel non-HUD-approved mobile homes with less than <br /> half their lengths side by side may be l0 feet apart <br /> on both sides. <br /> <br /> (c) When not placed parallel to each other, or when parallel if one or <br />more Of the units is a tip-out, non-HUD-approved mobile homes may be l0 feet <br />apart on both sides but must be at least 14 feet apart for half their length. <br /> <br /> (d} Adjacent mobile homes in all parks must be placed at least 14 feet <br />apart where a flan~nable or combustible fuel storage vessel is located on or <br />between units. <br /> <br /> (e) A mobile home may not be closer than l0 feet to a'park building within <br />the mobile home park, or closer than 5 feet to a park property line. The area <br />occupied by the mobile home, accessory buildings, and structures on a mobile <br />home lot shall not exceed 75% of the lot area. <br /> <br /> {f} To prevent the spread of fire from one mobile home to another (unless <br />otherwise approved by the issuing authority}, the roi.lowing separations shall <br />apply: <br /> <br /> (A} An accessory building shall not be located closer than six feet to any <br />mobile home or other accessory building on adjacent space, except that a <br />double carport or garage may be built which Serves two adjacent mobile homes. <br /> <br /> (B} When a double carport or garage is built to serve two adjacent mobile <br />homes, a minimum 3' separation shall be provided between the double carport <br />and any adjacent structure, mobile home, or mobile home accessory structure. <br />As an alternative, a one hour fire separation may be provided through the <br />center of the double carport serving adjacent mobile homes. <br /> <br />(g) Mobile homes shall be set back a minimum distance of 5 feet from the <br />edge of a park street or 2 feet from the edge of a sidewalk (if sidewalks are <br /> <br /> -15- <br /> <br /> <br />
