SE, Aumsville <br />October 6, 1992 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />Mar!on County <br /> OREGON <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />DEPARTMI~NT <br /> <br />Building Inspection - Dwelling Plan Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the State of Oregon <br />1990 Edition One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br /> <br />This plan review covers the addition to and/or alteration of an existing <br />structure. This review is not intended to prohibit the building inspector <br />from requesting an evaluation of the acceptability of existing structural <br />members that may appear to be unsafe. Existing construction not specifically <br />detailed in the submitted plans and structural calculations is beyond the <br />scope of this review. <br /> <br />Footings sections: 12 in. wide - I story; 15 in.- 2 story, 18 in. 3 <br />story. Footings shall extend not less than 12 in. below the finish <br />natural grade. (R-303) <br /> <br />Foundation walls shall extend at least 8 in. above the finished grade to <br />the foundation at all points. (R-304.2) (6 in. where pressure treated <br />sill plates are used.) <br /> <br />Provide at least I square foot of underfloor ventilation for each 150 <br />square feet of crawl space area. The openings shall be covered with a <br />corrosion resistant wire mesh. At least one such opening shall be <br />provided within 3 feet of each corner of the building. (R-309.1) <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of the provisions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction. Reviews or inspections <br />presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the <br />dwelling code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction shall not be valid. <br /> <br />"APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
