Footings shall extend not less than 12 in. below the finish natural <br /> grade. (R-303} <br /> <br /> Wood framed walls less ~han four feet in width at garage door openings <br /> shall be provided with approved hold-down anchors. Anchors are to be <br /> provided at each end of each wall segment and connect the wall studding <br /> to the concrete foundation. AS an alternate, a designed structural <br /> system to resist the required 80 mile per hour wind lead can be <br /> provided. <br /> <br />3. The 2x6 ceiling joists at 16" on center noted on the plans will provide <br /> a continuous tie between the exterior walls, but are not designed for a <br /> storage live load. <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of the provisions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction.
