All openings within 10 feet of property line <br /> shall be protected with fire assembly having a three-fourths-hours fire- <br /> protection rating. <br /> <br />2. Approved numbers or addresses shall be provided for all new buildings in <br /> such a position as to be plainly visible and legible from the street or <br /> road fronting the property. (513) (UFC 10.208) <br /> <br />3. Plans should indicate the floor or landing on each side of doors is not <br /> more than 1 inch lower than the threshold of the doorway. Sec. 3304(i) <br /> <br />4. A water supply sufficient to control a potential fire is required. See <br /> Appendix III-A of the Uniform Fire Code. Contact the local fire <br /> department for requirements. The chief shall establish the minimum <br /> residual pressure and flow duration when determining fire flow. <br /> <br />Approval of submitted plans is not an approval of omissions or oversights by this <br />office or of noncompliance with any applicable regulations of local government. <br /> <br />This project may be subject to the architectural standards of the Americans with <br />Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). Issuance of a building permit does not certify <br />compliance with this Federal Statute. Copies of the guidelines and information <br />concerning the ADA may be obtained from the Architectural and Transportation <br />Barriers Compliance Board, 1-202-653-7834 (Voice/TDD) or 1-800 USA-ABLE.
