April 26, 1993

APPLICANT~
SITE NUMBER:

STANDARD SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET

GRBGORY & THERESA ALAND
93-1311, LOT 4, BLOCK 11, MAY ADDITION

Your site has been found suitable for a STANDARD ON-SITE SEWAGE DISPOSAL
SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the installa-
tion of your septic system.

1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000
gallons.

The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at
300 qallons per day. Based on soil conditions observed on this
site, the disposal field will be sized at 75 lineal feet ~er 150
qallons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 150 lineal
feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop-
ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and
on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125
feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed
level (±l") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface.

The disposal field shall be constructed with equal distribution
with a minimum trench depth of 18 inches and a maximum trench
depth of 24 inches. There must be at least 6 inches of backfill
over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural ground
surface.

This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system
must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho-
rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is
proposed for a different area on the property.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
The drainfields will be installed within an area altered significantly
by cutting and/or filling. These sites are not usually considered for
on-site septic systems. However, the filled areas appear stabilized with
no apparent cracking or slumping. And~ the soil profile is developing in
the cut area with enough structure and fine constituents to expect the
drainfield to properly process the normal daily sewage flow load. Other
systems constructed on similar sites are operating normally without any
evidence of failure. The drainfield areas must be constructed as
currently field staked for location and barricaded against damage form
vehicle traffic. The original drainfield must be installed as staked for
the equal loop system.

THIS IS NOT A PERMIT TO INSTALL THE SEPTIC SYSTEM. HO NOT INS~A?.?. THE SYSTEM
UNTIL A VALIH PERMIT ~AE BEEN ISSUED SY THIS OFFICE.
