8212 Davis Ridge Dr. SE, Aumsville <br />93-00542 (47628) <br />June 14, 1993 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />OREGON <br /> <br />Bnilding Inspection - Dwelling Plan Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the State of Oregon <br />1990 Edition One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty code. <br /> <br />Footings sections: 12 in. wide - 1 story; 15 in.- 2 story, 18 in. 3 <br />story. Footings shall extend not less than 12 in. below the finish <br />natural grade. (R-303) <br /> <br />Foundation walls shall extend at least 8 in. above the finished grade to <br />the foundation at all points. (R-304.2) (6 in. where pressure treated <br />sill plates are used.) <br /> <br /> Foundation plates shall be bolted to the foundation with minimum <br /> 1/2 inch diameter by 10 inch anchor bolts embedded at least 7 inches <br /> into concrete or reinforced masonry and spaced not more than 6 feet <br /> apart with a minimum of 2 bolts per piece with one bolt within 12 inches <br /> of the end of each piece. Figure (R-303) <br /> <br />All exterior walls shall be provided lateral bracing at each end and <br />every 25 feet of wall length by one of the following methods~ <br />A) 1 x 4 let in diagonal braces between 45 and 60 degrees from the <br /> horizontal. <br />B) Approved metal strap devices installed in accordance with the <br /> manufacturer's specifications. <br />C) Approved structural sheathing. (plywood, waferwood, etc. Braced <br /> panels must be a minimum of 4 feet in width.) (R-402.10) <br /> <br />Rafters shall be nailed to ceiling joists to form a continuous tie <br />between exterior walls where joist are parallel to the rafters. Where <br />not parallel, rafters shall be tied with a rafter tie, located at or <br />near the plate as practical. Rafter ties shall be spaced not more than 4 <br />feet on center. <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of the provisions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction. Reviews or inspections <br />presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the <br />dwelling code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction shall not be valid. <br /> <br />sf <br /> <br />"APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
