(UFC 10.208) <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of 6 in. <br />within the first 10 ft., except as restricted by lot lines where the <br />fall will be a minimum of 6 in. regardless of the horizontal distance <br />available. (R-301.3) <br /> <br />Footings shall extend not less than 12 in. below the finish natural <br />grade. (R-303) <br /> <br />Foundation plates shall be bolted to the foundation with minimum <br />1/2 inch diameter by 10 inch anchor bolts embedded at least 7 inches <br />into concrete or reinforced masonry and spaced not more than 6 feet <br />apart with a minimum of 2 bolts per piece with one bolt within 12 inches <br />of the end of each piece. Figure (R-303) <br /> <br />Firestopping shall be provided in the following locations; <br /> A) In concealed spaces of stud walls, including furred spaces, <br /> at the ceiling and floor level~ <br /> At all intereonnections between ~onceal~d ~/ertical and <br /> horizontal spaces such as occur at soffits, drop ceilings <br /> etc.; <br /> C) At openings around vents, pipes ducts, chimneys and <br /> fireplaces at ceiling and floor level, with noncombustible <br /> materials. (R-402.7) <br /> <br />Provide screened attic veat~ with a net free area of 1/150 of the attic <br />area (or 1/300 if half is along eaves and the other half in the upper <br />portion). (R-707) <br /> <br />A readily accessible attic access shall be provided to any attic area <br />having a clear height of over 30 inches. A framed opening not less than <br />22 in. by 30 in. is required. (R-708) <br /> <br />Roof trusses are required to be designed by an Oregon registered <br />Engineer or Architect. For trusses manufactured by an approved <br />fabrication plant, have the design and layout drawings' available at the <br />construction site for the framing inspection. Ail job site cutting or <br />modification of the roof trusses shall be clearly shown in the <br />engineer's design calculations and drawings. <br /> <br />"_APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
