County <br /> <br /> OREGON <br />COMMUN[¥Y DIEV~I.OPM~NT <br />DE P^R'I'MI~NT <br /> <br /> Building Inspection - Dwelling Plan Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the State of Oregon <br />1990 Edition one and TWO Family Dwelling Specialty code. <br /> <br />The plans submitted do not clearly show all the required framing <br />details. Provide roof sheathing and roof covering on the garage in <br />compliance with code requirements. NO sheathing or roof covering are <br />not on the plans. <br /> <br />Foundation walls shall extend at least 8 in. above the finished grade to <br />the foundation at all points. (R-304.2) (6 in. where pressure treated <br />sill plates are used.) <br /> <br />Footings sections= 12 in. wide - 1 story; 15 in.- 2 story, 18 in. 3 <br />story. Footings shall extend not less than 12 in. below the finish <br />natural grade. (R-303) <br /> <br />Wood framed walls less than four feet in width at garage door openings <br />shall be provided with approved hold-down anchors. Anchors are to be <br />provided at each end of each wall segment and connect the wall studding <br />to the concrete foundation. As an alternate, a designed structural <br />system to resist the required 80 mile per hour wind load can be <br />provided. <br /> <br />Roof trusses are required to be designed by an Oregon registered <br />Engineer or Architect. For trusses manufactured by an approved <br />fabrication plant, have the design and layout drawings available at the <br />construction site for the framing inspection. All job site cutting or <br />modification of the roof trusses shall be clearly shown in the <br />engineer's design calculations and drawings. If trusses are to be built <br />at the job site, submit the engineer's design and construction plans to <br />the Marion County Building Department prior to start of construction and <br />have the approved drawings available at the site for the framing <br />inspection. <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of th~ provisions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction. Reviews or inspections <br />presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the <br />dwelling code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction shall not be valid. <br /> <br />sf <br /> <br />"APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
