NE, Aurora <br />93-1804 (47296) <br />June 11, 1993 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />Marion County <br /> <br /> OREGON <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />Building Inspection - Dwelling Plan Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the State of Oregon <br />1990 ~dition One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br /> <br />Approved numbers or addressaS shall be placed on all buildings in such a <br />position as to be plainly visible and lagible from the street or road <br />fronting the property. (UFC 10.208) <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of 6 in. <br />within the first 10 ft., except as restricted by lot lines where the <br />fall will be a minimum of 6 in. regardless of the horizontal distance <br />available. <br /> <br />Basemant walls, foundation walls, and other vertical concrete exposed to <br />the weather shall have a minimum specified compressive strength of <br />3000 psi. Porchas, carport slabs, garage floor slabs and steps exposed <br />to the weather shall have a minimum specified compressive strength of <br />3500 psi. Table No. (R-302.2) <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Foundation walls shall extend at least 8 in. above the finished grade to <br />tha foundation at all points. (R-~04.2) (6 in. whets pressure treated <br />sill plates are used.) <br /> <br />ls. <br /> <br />Provide at least 1 square foot of underfloor ventilation for each <br />square feet of crawl space area. The openings shall be covered with a <br />corrosion resistant wire mesh. At least one such opening shall be <br />provided within 3 feet of each corner of the building. (R-309.1) <br /> <br />36. <br /> <br />When alterations repairs or additions are made to an existing dwelling, <br />the entire building shall be provided with smoke detectors located as <br />required for new dwellings. (R-215.1) <br /> <br />48. <br /> <br />Wood framed walls lass than four feet in width at garage door openings <br />shall be provided with approved hold-down anchors. Anchors are to ba <br />provided at each end of each wall segment and connect the wall studding <br />to the coNcrate foundation. As an alternate, a designed structural <br />system to resist the required 80 mils per hour wind load can be <br />provided. <br /> <br />49. <br /> <br />60. <br /> <br />Provide screened attic vents with a net free area of 1/150 of the attic <br />area (or 1/300 if half is along eaves and the other half in the upper <br />$ortion).
