Yhe grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of 6 in. <br /> within the first 10 ft., except as restricted by lot lines where the <br /> fall will be a minimum of 6 in. regardless of the horizontal distance <br /> available. (R-301.3) <br /> <br /> 11. Foundation walls shall extend at least S in. above the finished grade to <br /> the foundation at all points. (R-304.2) (6 in. where pressure treated <br /> sill plates are used.) <br /> <br /> 18. Provide at least 1 square foot of underfloor ventilation for each 150 <br /> square feet of crawl space area. The openings shall be covered with a <br /> corrosion resistant wire mesh. At least one such opening shall be <br /> provided within 3 feet of each corner of the building. (E-309.1) <br /> <br /> 33. Appliances generating a glow, spark or flame and all electrical outlets <br /> installed in a garage shall be elevated 1S inches above the floor. <br /> Appliances installed in a garage shall be protected against damage by <br /> vehicles. (M-1114 & NEC Article 500) <br /> <br /> 48. Wood framed walls less than four feet in width at garage door openings <br /> shall be provided with approved hold-down anchors. Anchors are to be <br /> provided at each end of each wall segment and connect the wall studding <br /> to the concrete foundation. AS an alternate, a designed etructural <br /> system to resist the required 80 mile per hour wind load can be <br /> provided° <br /> <br /> 57. Roof trusses are required to be designed by an Oregon registered <br /> Engineer or Architect. For trusses manufactured by an approved <br /> fabrication plant, have the design and layout drawings available at the <br /> construction site for the framing inspection. All job site cutting or <br /> modification of the roof trusses shall be clearly shown in the <br /> engineer's design calculations and drawings. If trusses are to be built <br /> at the job site, submit the engineer's design and construction plans to <br /> the Marion County Building Department prior to start of construction and <br /> have the approved drawings available at the site for the framing <br /> inspection. <br /> <br /> Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br /> construed to be an approval of a violation of the previsions Of the dwelling <br /> code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction. Reviews or inspections <br /> presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the <br /> dwelling code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction shall not be valid. <br /> <br />fp <br /> <br />"APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
