11462 stienkamp Rd. <br />93-032~6 (9049973) <br />S~ptember 23, 1993 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />Building Inspection - Dwelling Plan Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the state of Oregon <br />1993 Edition One and ~wo Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br /> <br />This plan review covers the addition to and/or alteration of an existing <br />structure. This review is not intended to prohibit the building <br />inspector from requesting an evaluation of the acceptability of existing <br />structural members that may appear to be unsafe. Existing construction <br />not specifically detailed in the submitted plans and structural <br />calculations is beyond the scope of this review. <br /> <br />24. <br /> <br />Wood joists or the bottom of a wood structural floor closer than <br />18-inches or wood girders closer than 12 inches to exposed ground shall <br />be pressure treated lumber. (R-309.1) <br /> <br />33. <br /> <br />Firestopping shall be provided at all interconnections between concealed <br />vertical and horizontal spaces such as Occur at soffits, drop ceilings <br /> <br />34. <br /> <br />Every sleeping room shall have at least one operable window approved for <br />emergency egress or rescue. The window sill height shall not be more <br />than 44 inches above the floor. The minimum net clear opening width <br />dimension shall be 20 inches. The minimum net opening height shall be <br />24 inches. The minimum net clear opening area shall be at least 5.7 <br />square feet. (R-210.2) <br /> <br />35. Windows shall have a U-value of .40 or better, skylight .50 or better. <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of the provisions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction. Reviews or inspections <br />presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the <br />dwelling code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction shall not be valid. <br /> <br />"APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
