7908 stone Field <br />93-03392 (50860) <br />October 25, 1993 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />Marion Co nty <br /> <br />COMMUN[TY DEV£LC~PMENT <br />DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the State of Oregon <br />1990 Edition One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br /> <br />NOTE= See the original plan review for this site dated October 15, 1993 for <br />additional comments for the dwelling permit. <br /> <br />The 2x12 floor joists are being proposed to change to 11 7/8" TJI/DF 15 <br />at 19.2" on center for a span of 17'-0", The maximum span for TJI of <br />this size and series is 15'-2". Install the TJI's per the <br />manufacturer's installation instructions. Make special note of the <br />reinforcing of TJI's at concentrated point loads. <br /> <br />Provide a minimum of a 4x8 posts with a 42" square footing x 12" deep <br />with rebar ran each way 3" up form the bottom of the footing at the <br />14,462~ concentrated point load from the roof design. <br /> <br />The TJI's are not designed to support this high of a point load. The <br />4x8 posts should go up through the TJI area to the underside of the <br />floor decking or submit an alternate design for review and approval. <br /> <br />Provide solid blocks at concentrated point loads per the mfr. <br />installation instructions at other 1,~eds £rem girder trusses. <br /> <br />The plans were not reviewed and are not approved for a basement. If a <br />basement is constructed, a separate permit is required and plans need to <br />be submitted for review to Marion County Building Inspection. <br /> <br />Underfloor perimeter insulation is no permitted as an alternate to the <br />requirement for floor insulation unless there is a basement. <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of the provisions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction. Reviews or inspections <br />presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the <br />dwelling code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction shall not be valid. <br /> <br />sf <br /> <br />"APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
