Plans have been reviewed for compliance with the <br />provisions of the Oregon State Struotural Specialty Code ('91 UBC) 1993 <br />Edition. <br /> <br />This reviaw is not intended to prohibit the building inspector from requesting <br />an evaluation of the acceptability of ~xisttng structural members that may <br />appear to be unsafe. Existing construction not specifically detailed in the <br />plans and structural calculations is beyond the scope of this review. <br /> <br />Ail prefabricated structures which are intended to be sold, leased or <br />installed on a building site in Oregon shall bear a State of Oregon <br />insignia of approval. The insignia shall be permanently attached on <br />each unit in a visible location after installation Of the structure. <br />(5001 & 5OO7) <br /> <br />All unenclosed floor and roof openings, open and glaged sides of <br />~tairways~ landings and ramps, balconies or porches which are more than <br />30 inch~s above grade or floor below, and roofs used for other than <br />service of the buildin~ shall be protected by a guardrail. <br /> <br />Guardrails in araas accessible to the ~ublic shall be not less than <br />42-inches in height. The open space between the intermediate or <br />ornamental pattern of guardrails shall be such that a ~-inc~ diameter <br />sphere cannot pass through. (1712) <br /> <br />~very building shall have sanitary fixtures installed as required by <br />Section 510 and Table NO. 5-E. Where sanitary fixtures are located in <br />an adjacent building on the same property~ toilet facilities may be <br />omitted in the new building.
