(R-iI1.2) <br /> <br />Wood framed walls less than four feet in width at garage door openings <br />shall be provided with approved hold-down anchors, two feet minimum <br />width. Anchors are to be provided at each end of each wall segment and <br />connect the wall studding to the concrete foundation. For wall less <br />than two feet wide and as an alternate, a designed structural system to <br />resist the required 80 mile per hour wind load can be provided. <br /> <br />Roof trusses are required to be designed by an Oregon registered <br />Engineer or Architect. For trusses manufactured by an approved <br />fabrication plant, have the design and layout drawings available at the <br />construction site for the framing inspection. All job site cutting or <br />modification of the roof trusses shall be clearly shown in the <br />engineer's design calculations and drawings. If trusses are to be built <br />at the job site, submit the engineer's design and construction plans to <br />the Marion County Building Department prior to start of construction and <br />have the approved drawings available at the site for the framing <br />inspection. <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of the provisions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinance~ of the jurisdiction. Reviews or inspections <br />presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the <br />dwelling code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction shall not be valid. <br /> <br />sf <br /> <br />"APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
