October 14, 1993 A~PLICANT= SITE NUMBER: STANDARD SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET John Davidaon 93-03259 Your site has been found suitable for a STANDARD ON-SITE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the installa- tion of your septic system. 1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000 gallons. The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at 450 gallons .per day. Based on soil conditions observed on this site, the disposal field will be sized at 150 lineal feet per 150 g~llons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of ~50 lineal fee__t of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. The disposal field shall be constructed with ~er~al distribut~q~ with a minimum trench depth Of 24 inches and a maximum trench depth of 24 inches. There must be at least 12 inches of backfill ever the top of the gravel, measured from the natural ground A groundwater interceptor is required as part of this system. This interceptor trench must be constructed a minimum twelve (12) inches wide by 48 inches deep with 36 inches o~ clean gravel placed over a four (4) inch smooth wall perforated pipe. The interceptor must be located at least ten (10) feet upslope from the disposal field and must discharge through a watertight, non- perforated pipe beside or below the disposal field. A separation of 25 feet is required from the septic tank if the tank is located upslope of the groundwa- ter interceptor. This approval is site specific to the area teste~ and the septic system must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is proposed for a different area on the property.
