May 4, 1995 <br /> <br />APPLICANT~ <br />SITE NUMBER: <br /> <br />SA/~D FILTER SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET <br /> <br />ALaN TUP/qER C/O JAMES HA/qSE~ <br />94-4040, PARCEL 2, 1.5 ACRES <br /> <br /> Your site has been found suitable for a S3kND FILTER ALTEP~NATI~PE SEWAGE <br />DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the <br />installation of your septic system. <br /> <br />The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000 <br />gallons, <br /> <br />The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at <br />450 q~llons per day. Based on soil conditions observed on this <br />site, the disposal field will be sized at 45 lineal feet ~r 150 <br />qallo~ of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 135 lineal <br />feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- <br />ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and <br />on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 <br />feet in length, The trenches and perforated pipe are installed <br />level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. <br /> <br />The disposal field shall be constructed with Equal distribution <br />with a minimum trench depth of 18 inches and a maximum trench <br />depth of 24 inches. There must be at least 6 inches of backfill <br />over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural ground <br />surface. <br /> <br /> 4. The sand filter system shall be designed and operated as per OAR <br /> 340-71-290 through 340~71-305. Detailed plans for the system must <br /> be submitted prior to permit issuance. A building permit is <br /> required if a site built concrete box is used as the sand filter <br /> container. A pamphlet is available in our office which details the <br /> requirements for a sand filter system. <br /> <br /> An effluent lift pump may b~ necessary to construct ~he disposal field <br />in the approved area and at the correct depth. <br /> <br /> This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system <br />must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- <br />rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is <br />proposed for a different area on the property, <br /> <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS: <br /> Construct the drainfields within the immediate area of the soil test <br /> pits. Use care not to alter the natural topsoil within the drainfield <br /> areas prior to installation. A pre-permit field stakeout is recommended <br /> to establish the locations and elevations of the individual drainfield <br /> lines. Refer to the stakeout procedure and the setback list for details <br /> to complete the stakeout. Hold off siting wells until the stakeout is <br /> reviewed by our office and the drainfield sites confirmed. <br /> <br />THIS IS NOT A ~ERMIT TO INSTALL TH~ SEPTIC SYSTEM.
