540 @TH ST, AUMSVILL~ <br /> <br />January ~?, 1995 <br /> age 1 <br /> <br />Marion County <br /> <br /> OREGON <br />COMMUNITY OI~VFLOPMI~NT <br />O[~PARTMENT <br /> <br /> Euilding Inspection - Dwelling Plan Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the State of Oregon <br />1993 Edition One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br /> <br />A COPY OF THE APPROV~D PLANS SHkLL BE KEPT ON THE SITE OF THE BUILDING <br />OR WORK AT THE TIME OF THE INSPECTION. (R-111.2) <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of 6 in. <br />within the first 10 ft., except as restricted by lot lines where the <br />fall will be a minimum of 6 in. regardless of the horizontal distance <br />available. (R-301.3) <br /> <br />When reinforcement is located in the footing in the proximity of the <br />electrical service panel, one piece o£ the reinforcement shall extend a <br />minimum of 1' above the plate to act as a grounding electrode for the <br />panel. If a piece is bent and tied, it must be tied (MINIMUM 1' LAP) to <br />a minimum 20' long section of reinforcement in the footing or wall. <br />Contact the Electrical Inspector with questions. (NEC Article 250- <br /> <br />Footings shall extend not less than 12 in. below the finish natural <br />grade. Foundations walls shall extend at least 6 in. above the finished <br />grade at all points. (R-303) (R-304.2) <br /> <br />A keyway in the footing is an acceptable method and will transfer the <br />lateral loads, OR provide a 18 inch long No. 3 dowels extending 12 <br />inches from the footing into the wall, 4 feet on cch=er, OR pour the <br />footing and stemwall at one time (monolithically). All wood left <br />permanently in contact with the foundation shall b~ FOUNDATION GRADE <br />WITH ALL CUT ENDS AND/OR SIDES TREATED with an approved wood <br />preservative. (R-310) <br /> <br />Foundation cripple walls shall be framed of studs with a minimum length <br />of 14 inches or shall be framed of solid blocking. (R-402.9) <br /> <br />The structural supports for decks, balconies, porches or similar struc- <br />tures shall be pressure-treated wood to protect against decay. <br />(R-309.1) <br /> <br />Every sleeping room shall have at least one operable window approved for <br />emergency egress or rescue. The window sill height shall not be more <br />than 44 inches above the floor. The minimum ne= clear opening width <br />dimension shall be 20 inches· The minimum net opening height shall be <br />24 inches. The minimum net clear opening area shall be at least 5.7 <br />square feet. (R-210.2) <br /> <br /> "APPROVED" only when this sheet is <br />attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
