(R-111.2) <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of 6 in. <br />within the first 10 ft., except as restricted by lot lines where the <br />fall will be a minimum of 6 in. regardlese of the horizontal distance <br />available. (R-301.3) <br /> <br />Footings shall extend not lees than 12 in. below the finish natural <br />grade. Foundations walls shall extend at least 6 i~. above the finiehed <br />grade at all points. (R-303) (R-304.2) <br /> <br />A keyway in the footing is an acceptable method and will tranefer the <br />lateral loads, OR provide a 18 inch long NO. 3 dowels extending 12 <br />inches from the footing into the wall, 4 feet on center, OR pour the <br />footing and etemwall at one time (monolithically) . All wood left <br />permanently in contact with the foundation shall be FOUNDATION GRADE <br />WITH ALL CUT ENDS RinD/OR SIDES TREATED with an approved wood <br />preservative. (R-310) <br /> <br />Every sleeping room shall have at least one operable window approved for <br />emergency egress or rescue. The window sill height shall not be more <br />than 44 inches above the floor. The minimum net clear opening width <br />dimension shall be 20 inches. The minimum net opening heigh~ shall be <br />24 inches. The minimum net clear opening area shall be at least 5.7 <br />square feet. (R-210.2) <br /> <br />This house plan uses a combination of Brace Panele (BP) and Alternate <br />Brace Panels (ABP) to met the code requirements for lateral wall <br />bracing_ ~neure that all BP'S and ABP's are located as indicated on <br />the plans and constructed as shown on the plan~ and the attached <br />8 1/2x11" detail sheets. <br /> <br />Approval ae a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of the provisions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction· Reviews or inspectione <br />presuming to ~ive authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the <br />dwelling code or of o~her ordinances of the jurisdiction shall not be valid. <br /> <br />DAW <br /> <br /> "APPROVED" only when this sheet is <br />attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
