The wedges were centered at the bottom of a 1'?"wide, 32"tall 11/2"thick concrete panel. <br /> Hydraulic pressure was applied to the 4"Hydraulic cylinder at the top of the panel. Three tests <br /> were performed with an average break at 800 PSI for a 10048 lb. load. <br /> Failure was always with a burst, crumbling the cone]ete panel around the wedge set.
