Duplex pumps and an effluent screen are required. Refer to thesigned approved steeping dated September 22,2003. Also, refer to the.system specifications on page 2 of thependt document. 'A DETAILED SEPTIC SYSTEM STAKEOUT IS REQUIRED p lotto the issuance of a septic system installation permit The area for the system is very limited and the stakeout must be completed to determine that the system will fit withinthe area ofthe approved test pits.A scale drawn,detailed site plan must b submitted with the application for the installation permit.The stakeout must be inspected on the property and approved before the permit can be j issued.Instructions for the stakeout are attached and ace available in our office. DUPLEX EFFLUENT LIFT PUMPS WIT r BE REQUIRED to install the septic system disposal field in the approved area and at the required depth. Detailed instructions for dosing tank/effluent pump installations are available in our office. The electrical wiring to the pinup and alarm must be installed in accordance with the appropriateElecnical Code.The electrical work must be done under a Marion County Electrical Permit and mast be inspected and approved by a Marion County Electrical Inspector. The work roust be left tmcovered and accessible for inspection.The electrical hsspecten includes the connections to the pump and alarm in the dosing tank,the wiring in the trench and the connections in tildestricbae. • OBSERVE ALL SbtBACKS AND SEPARATION DISTANCES as required by the DEQ rules. The well placement is especially critical and must be located at least one-hundred(100)feet from the approved initial and replacement DRAINFTCLD areas.A copy of the DEQ setback requirane ats is available in our office. 11in APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic,livestock end fanning activities. Other activities such as logging, eacsvafmg or filling, dtivevray placement or any similar activities way also damage the soil in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval.The areas of the initial septic system and the future repair system must both be protected • TIES SYSTEM MUST BE INSPECTED AND APPROVED PRIOR TO BACKFILL.When work is complete and ready for inspection,call our Autornated]nspecdon Request line at(503)373-4427 to request an inspection.
