Konev; <br /> <br />The Department of Environmental quality is in receipt of a completed <br />application for variances from 0r.egon Administrative Rules governing <br />subsurface sewage disposal, OAR Chapter ~O: 71-020(.3) (el I 71-O20(2) (c); <br />71-030(I) Id); a.d 71-030C ) Cf) CF). <br /> <br />A public infor~ation gathering hear.l.ng to ~onslder your requests, as <br />provided for in OAR Chapter '3~O, 75-Oq5, w, ll be scheduled by Mr. Gary <br />Hesser, your ass.lgned variance officer. <br /> <br />Hr. Hesser wlll contact you in the near future to establish the hearing <br />time, date, and locat[on. At that time, he will receive pertinent <br />testimony from all interested persons. I~ you wish~ you may have a <br />technical consultant In attendance to speak about your proposal. You may <br />also be represented by l.egal counsel at the hearing or at any stage of <br />~he variance process. <br /> <br />The variance officer may visit the site of the proposed system if he <br />deems It necessary to his ~eachl~g a dec,sion. At.that time he w~ll <br />examine the test pt:$ you have previded in the area of.the proposed <br />dratnfield. As speclfled on the var!ance'appl)catio~ form~ the test <br />~lts must be dug to a depth of five (~) feet or tO bedrock. Please refer <br />to the attached plan of your proposal for.the most desirable locatlons <br />to place these test pits- <br /> <br />At the time of your hearing, please be prepared to offer those facts and <br />reasons which yo~ feel give assurance.that your requested variance, if <br />granted, w~11 not result In.the creation of a public health hazard or <br />cause pollution of publ!c waters.
