EX4991 March 2, 2007 <br /> 06NK23629 <br /> 2.5 Instrumentation for Tests <br /> • 1/16 in, diameter, Type K Inconel sheathed thermocouples located below the ceiling <br /> adjacent to each sprinkler. <br /> • 1/16 in. diameter,Type K Inconel sheathed thermocouple located 6 in. below the <br /> ceiling above the ignition location. <br /> • Five 1/16 in. diameter, Type K Inconel sheathed thermocouples embedded in a 50.5 <br /> in. long steel angle attached to the bottom of the ceiling directly above the fire. <br /> • A pressure transducer in 0-100 psi range to measure the water pressure in he sprinkler <br /> system. <br /> • A 12 in. magnetic flow meter in the 0-3200 gpm range to measure the water flow rate. <br /> • Forty-nine and thirty-six sprinkler-activation timing devices were installed for Tests I <br /> and 2, respectively,to record the breakage of the glass bulbs. <br /> • Timing devices located within the data acquisition system to monitor and record <br /> significant events during the fire test. <br /> • Video and infrared cameras to capture and record images of the fire test <br /> In addition to the above, Test 1 included the following: <br /> • Linear heat detector cable installed under each of the 10 branch tines connected <br /> to the data acquisition system (see Figure 10) <br /> Figure 10.Linear Heat Detector Wire Installed Below Braneb Line <br /> 9 <br />
