Code Section for which alternative method being proposed: <br /> Table 705.2: Projections. <br /> Proposed Design: <br /> • New Hangar Echo Canopy: A non-combustible fire sprinklered canopy is proposed <br /> adjacent to the existing property line. <br /> Describe Reason for Alternative: <br /> • Existing Fire Lane:The 30 foot wide Richter Fire Lane shown on sheets T1.0 and T1.1. <br /> The easement is recorded per the additional attached information, survey sheets Hickman <br /> &Associates Sheet I dated 8-10-06, and Chase Jones & Associates drawing dated 9-27- <br /> 15 which also shows the easement. This is a recorded easement, that is also shown on the <br /> Marion County Tax Map, also attached, and is a permanent recorded easement. <br /> 4110 • Allow Center of Easement as the Fire Separation Distance for Table 705.2. Then per the <br /> attached drawing the canopy complies with projection criteria of this section. <br /> Describe Why, How, etc. the Proposed Alternative is Equivalent and Meets the Intent of the <br /> Code in Terms of"Strength, Effectiveness.Fire Resistance, Durability, Health,and Safety": <br /> • Other sections of the code, such as Exception 1.2 of Section 705.8.1, acknowledge that a <br /> 30 foot wide fire lane is sufficient separation to allow fire opening in exterior walls. In <br /> this case this same area will also be fire sprinklered and the interior and exterior of the <br /> building wall in this location also provided with an NFPA water curtain.
