While the soil conditions
appear suitable to consider that area for the new septic
system, I am not sure that there is enough space to site
the new house and the required amount of drainfield.

A field stake out should verify whether the necessary 375
lineal feet of drainfietd can be constructed and meet the
minimum separation distances from proposed and existing
features. Refer to the enclosed stakeout procedure and
the setback list in choosing the site for the individual
drainfield lines. Note in particular, the 100 feet set-
back from wells, the I0 feet from t~e house and property
lines and the 25 feet setback from the bluff/escarpment
line.

When you have accurately staked the proposed construction
develop a to-scale-drawn plot plan of the stakeout and
submit it to our office for review. We will make a return
visit to the property to ensure all setbacks are in ~om-
pliance to issue the permit. Call, if you have any ques-
tions. I am usually in the office between 8 and 10

LEE A.
