Marion County

OREGON
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
DEPARTMENT

May 7, 1992

Mr. Kevin Pilotei
19875 Rubbard Cutoff Road NE
Aurora, Oregon 97002

Dear Mr. Filotei:

Your application for an on-site sewage disposal repair
permit is still on hold wi~h our office. We are waiting
for your decision concerning the direction you wish to
take with the repair of your septic system. A d~cision
must be made in the near future since the repair of the
system is very weather dependent. Now that the warmer
weather is here and the ground is drying out, it iS the
optimal time to make a repair with the least damage to
the site. The options previously discussed for this site
include the following:

Installation of the new disposal field on the
adjoining property. This will require a legal,
recorded easement with the neighbor.
Installation of a sand filter system on your own
property. Plans must be submitted to this office
prier to installation of the system. It is prefer-
able to install Sand Filters during the better
weather in the summer.
It may be possible to install a substandard system
in the area of the existing disposal field that
will eliminate the immediate problem of sewage
discharging to the ground surface. It must be
noted that any standard disposal field installed
in this area will be short lived and is not a long
'term solution to the problem.

Please notify our office of your decision within the next
thirty days. This will allow sufficient time comDlete all
of the necessary paperwork az%d have the system installed
this summer.

ROBERT FOSg~ER
REGISTERED SANITARIAN

Building ' 220 High Stceet NE - Sa]¢m, Oregon 97301-3670
