The following construction specifications shall apply to the installa- tion of your septic system. 1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 10~ gallo~s. The projected dally eewage flow ~0r this project is calculated at 450_~allons De~ ,,,day. Based on soil conditions observed on this site, the disposal field will be sized at 150 .lineal fe~t' per ~.~0 ~allons of projected daily sewage flow. A min~num O~ 450 13JAeal ~get of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- ment. The disposal trenches are constructed %we (2) feet wide and on minimum ten (10) foot centers and wi~h no line exceediog 125 feet in length. The trenshes and perforated pi~e aP~ installed level (il") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. The disposal field ehall be constructed with with a minimum trench depth of 24 i~ohes and a max&mum trench depth of 24 inches. There must be at least .12 inch~ of backfill o~e~ the top of the gravel, measured ~rom the natural ground surface. A groundwater interceptor is requi~ed aS part of this system. This interceptor trench must be constructed a minimum twelve (12) inches wide by 40 inches deed with 36 inche~ of clean gravel placed over a four (4) inch ~mooth wall perforated pipe. The interceptor must be lecated at least ten {10) feet upslope from the dlsposal field and must discharge through a watertight, non- perforated pipe beside o= below the disposal field. A separati~n of 25 feet is required from the septic tank if the tank is located upslope of the groundwa~ ter inter~eptor. This approval iz site s~ecific to the area tested and the septic ~ystem must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is proposed for a different area on the property. construct the drainfields within the immediate area of the soil test pits.
