washed drainroc~. The network will be installed as shown on the
attached d£awin~s. 1\8" holes will be drilled on the top of the
pipe in the network as shown, Care should be taken to ~dehurr"
these holes to prevent blockaCe. At the ends of the pressure
laterals there will be an elbow to provide a eleanout extending
above the gravel and filter fabric and provided with a threaded
cap at the end. If the eleanouts do not extend to the surface 6"
to t2" pieces of rebar will be placed next to them so they can be
found with a metal detector.

The pressure distribution network should be leveled to insure
there are no low or high areas which would change the
distribution and would cause increased loading in those areas.

The pressure distribution system will be tested at this point to
insure the laterals are level, all holes are clear, and that
there are no leak~ in the transport system,

Thc top layer of dralnrock will be covered with filter fabric to
prevent soll infiltration when covered.

Three inspection pipes will be installed in the filter az shown
on the attached plans, One pipe will tee into the perforated
underdrain anothee will extend to the sand top and the third will
extend to 6" above the sand bottom. The two top tubes will be
slotted and wrapped with filter fabric. Removable caps will be
u~ed at the surface for monitorint.

V. DRAINFIELD

The sand filter effluent will collect in the bottom of the sand
filter and be pumped from the sand filter pump vault to the top
drainline of the drainfield trenches. This drainfield will
consist of I drainlines for a total of 200' of drainfield. The
trench depth will be 24' deep to provide 12" of soil cover.
