State of Oregon <br />DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFY <br /> <br />~NTEROFFICE MEMO <br /> <br />To: H.M. & B. Investment <br /> <br />Sept. 3, 1975 <br /> <br />From: ~R:S ~ <br /> <br />On August 25, 1975, our Department deferred action on this subdivision in that the fol- <br />lowing proposed Tots had indications of a perched water table being present at depths <br />less than 24 inches below the ground surface during the winter months: <br /> <br />Block 1, Lot 2; Block 2, Lot l~ Block 2, Lot 2; and Block 3, Lot 3 <br /> <br />On August 29, 1975, the Marion County Health Department reviewed this development <br />and determined that the projected groundwaters on these lots could satisfactorily <br />be intercepted and diverted around the disposal areas by the installation of curtain <br />drains. <br /> <br />Therefore, Block 1, Lots 1-3; Block 2, Lots 1-4; Block 3, Lots 1-3; and Block 4, <br />Lots 1-7 (17 Lots total) of the proposed "The Ranch" subdivision approved subject <br />to the following conditions: <br /> <br />As determined by the Marion County Health Department, curtain drains will <br />be required to be installed in conjunction with the subsurface sewage <br />disposal system on the following lots: <br /> <br />Block 1, Lot 2 <br />Block 2, Lot 1 <br />Block 2~ Lot 2 <br />Block 3, Lot 3 <br /> <br />Prior to any construction, grading, road construction, driveway construction, <br />or the placement of any wells the owner shall first contact the Marion County <br />Health Department to ensure that there will be no encroachment on the approved <br />drainfield areas. <br /> <br />3. A subsurface sewage disposal permit must first be obtained from the Marion <br /> County Health Department prior to commencing any building construction. <br /> <br />A subsurface sewage disposal permit may not be issued On any of the proposed <br />lots until the proposed subdivision has been approved by the Marion County <br />Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Non-compliance with any of the above stated conditions may void this approval. <br /> <br /> <br />
