As a result of that investigation, it has been determined tha~ the site specified O~ your a~ylvlica- tics do~s not qualify for a standard s~ptic aystem or any o~ tbs alternative systems. The conditions on the site do sot meet the minimum requiremente of the Department of Environmental Quality On-Site Sewage Disposal Rules. ~hese r~les a~e ~p~cified in Oregon Ad~inis~rative Rules, Chapter 340, Division 71, Sections 100 through 600, Consequently, this site must be denied. The principal reason~ for denial O~ this ~ite are related to parcel si~e and setbacks. The following paragraphs outline th~ specific reasons for this denial. PARCEL ~IZE AND SETBACKS= There is insufficient area on the property for installation of an approved on-site septic system which will meet th~ setbacks as required in th~ D.E.Q. rules. The setbacks which are of particular concern are circled on the at~ached sheet. ~ach lot or parcel m~st have sufficient usable area available to accoramodate an initial and replacement septic system. It should be noted that this study Was done only in the area proposed on your application for on-site sewage disDOsalo Within the boundaries of your proper- ty, it is possible that soil conditions in a different area of thc pro~rty may be different than those examined is the existin~ tes~ pits.
